About the book
Madeline Marchant is a recently widowed mother of two trying to rebuild her life in the
countryside. She expects quiet. Instead, she finds Joe - a younger man with an old soul and
a dangerous family legacy. Their attraction is immediate, powerful, and all-consuming. But
Joe’s family are witches, and not all of them are pleased to see Maddie on the land.
